On Tuesday, La Colombe took part in the 6th annual Puppy Love Valentine’s Day Party at the 23rd Street Armory in Philadelphia. Devil’s Alley and Smokin’ Betty’s threw the party, but all proceeds benefited the PSPCA and ACCT Philly. Guests were encouraged to “bring the one they really love,” but solo dates had the opportunity to find a match with dogs and cats ready for adoption. There was dancing, cocktails, appetizers, and of course, a couple of La Colombe enthusiasts serving our cold-pressed coffee, Pure Black, for those in need of a caffeine buzz. At the silent auction, bidders had an opportunity to win a La Colombe gift basket including our coffee beans, Pure Black, and coffee caramel among a variety of other fun gift baskets.

The pups were able to “strut their stuff” on the doggie red carpet and at their very own doggie photo shoot. The event not only provided refreshments for the human guests, but doggie cupcakes and a variety of other animal-friendly appetizers were also provided. According to Smokin’ Betty’s, “This year’s event broke records, and had more dogs than we could count!” Don’t miss out on your doggie date or a chance to find your perfect match at next year’s Puppy Love Valentine’s Day Party!
