Latte: (n.) you should know this one already!
Just kidding, friends. “Latte” can mean different things to different people, and to Italians, it just means “milk.” At La Colombe, and in specialty coffee places in general, a latte is a double shot of espresso topped with steamed milk that has a distinct microfoam texture. The texture is key! It was the scrumptious texture of the classic hot latte that inspired Todd’s fervor to create Draft Latte – the iced latte to end all iced lattes.
