Bicycles Against Poverty has been cycling across the country to raise money and awareness about their program. This event-based tour, which began in June, lasted over ten weeks and included over twenty parties and presentations throughout the nation. The cyclists made it back to NYC covering over 3,200 miles in the process. La Colombe hosted three events including Chicago, Philadelphia and finally New York this past Friday. We are proud to have helped them raise $5,000 in this event alone. Here are some photos of the cyclists rolling into the city, and the festivities following the end of their tour.
Check out their website for more information about the organization and their bicycle program for Ugandan farmers.
