Uganda’s Trinity School Boys Dorm Completed

La Colombe has been supporting the Trinity School in Uganda since 2007 with the sales of Afrique blend. The school started with 6 students, and now has 1400. 300 of these students are orphans who are boarders at the school. Recently, the boys dormitory has been burned and they had to start from scratch (see below). We just received a wonderful thank you note from the founder of the school, Romans, with photos showing the construction. The dorm’s first floor is now completed, and the boys moved back in. We couldn’t be happier to have helped.

The plaque which recognizes La Colombe co-founder Todd Carmichael is placed right by the entrance to the dorm.
