La Colombe coffee truck at the PAWS Mutt Strut

PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) annual Mutt Strut was last weekend in the Navy Yard. We were there with our vintage Citroen H-van serving espresso drinks to keep everyone warm, and we donated all the sales to PAWS. Over $93k was raised in total, and 12 dogs were adopted! Below are some photos of the wonderful dogs we met on the day in their costumes for the costume competition.

About PAWS: PAWS is Philadelphia’s largest no-kill shelter, and is dedicated to saving the city’s homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. Through its adoption locations, special events, and foster care network, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of pets each year. PAWS also operates a high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter and wellness clinic serving pet owners who cannot afford basic veterinary care, and rescue organizations that need affordable services to carry out their lifesaving work. This facility, which serves more than 16,000 animals per year, plays a critical role in achieving our mission of reducing and ultimately eliminating the unnecessary killing of Philadelphia’s animals.
