Philadelphia. It’s where America began and also where La Colombe was conceived. Did you know that there are National Parks located in the middle of the city? Check out this list of unforgettable parks in your area.

Located in the heart of Old City, “America’s most historic square mile” is the perfect escape from busy Center City life. It’s a great spot for a coffee break, considering we have a cafe located right on the mall!

Not only is Valley Forge a beautiful National Park, it also played a huge part in the Revolutionary War. If you get a chance to visit in December, you might catch the reenactment of George Washington and his army marching into the field. If you’re a fan of cycling, Valley Forge is one of our favorite spots to ride bikes.

The Pinelands National Reserve covers over one million acres of farms, forests, and wetlands in New Jersey. It’s the perfect spot to explore miles and miles of wetlands, and a wide variety of plant and animal species.

As the largest free-flowing river in the Eastern United States, The Delaware River is the ideal place for fishing, kayaking, swimming, or just spending a day on the water. If you plan a canoe trip down the river, be sure to watch out for the rapids and enjoy the changing landscapes as you go!
