Last weekend, La Colombe was at the first annual “Windy City Smokeout,” put together by Bub City. All weekend we offered our signature cold-brew, Pure Black, with the sporty 1967 Citron H-Van. This inaugural summer festival brought together the best of live country music, beer and BBQ to the city’s popular River North neighborhood at Rush and Illinois Sts. in Chicago, IL.
Throughout the weekend, guests enjoyed southern-inspired fare from premiere Chicago BBQ restaurants Smoque, Lillie’s Q and Bub City, as well as nationally-acclaimed restaurant the Salt Lick, hailing from Driftwood, Texas, and Myron Mixon, star judge of Destination America’s “BBQ Pitmasters.” Here are some photos from the event.
