Coffee Lingo: Cappuccino

Cappuccino:  (n.) the one, the only. The quintessential coffee drink.

A cappuccino done right is a perfect balance of milk and a double shot of espresso.  With a ratio of 1:2 (2 ounces of Espresso: 4 ounces of milk), a cappuccino is an espresso-based drink with slightly sweet milk foam on top that is a favorite of all, from baristas to the first-time coffee drinker. It’s main difference from a latte is the consistency of the foam: it’s a little airier and drier, and it’s oh, so tasty. It warms your heart and its a perfect drink for conversation or to start your day.
