Friday Escape: Canyon Views

Wishing we woke up like this.

Our friend Becky, part of our Philly coffee crew, shared these shots from her recent trip to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. A fresh look on an iconic natural landmark. For those of us who grew up in the U.S., you would think we’d get numb to these pictures. That the seemingly ever-changing colors of the rock layers, the swooping canyon walls, the languid river that shaped it all, would stop being beautiful or impactful. But that numbness never comes. It is always amazing to see what nature has wrought. A persistent stream, flowing for millions of years, some years as a torrent, some years as a trickle, can bring huge change. And so can you.

Keep on flowing, and happy Friday, folks.
