In the 1920s, the first coffee seeds planted in Papua New Guinea were brought from the famed Blue Mountain region of Jamaica. Now these coffee plants are thriving in the high altitudes near the Waghi Valley, where they are tended to in small gardens of a hundred or two hundred coffee trees. Sweet and distinctive in taste, this Kunjin coffee stays true to its excellent lineage.
