“A party with a purpose” went down last Saturday at Urban Outfitter’s Navy Yard location. In other words, ACHIEVEability threw its annual “Food for Thought” fundraiser. ACHIEVEabilty is a Philadelphia-based organization that supports families in their efforts to overcome poverty and other obstacles by achieving financial stability, education and personal accountability. This was one of their most important fundraisers of the year, and they are proud to announce that this year’s event was another huge success.
“Food for Thought” draws a variety of promising sponsors that enable the organization to provide support to families in need. This year, the event featured food prepared by more than 30 top chefs and restaurants in the Greater Philadelphia Area, and La Colombe is always proud to take part in local efforts to help our neighbors in need (not to mention the food was outstanding).
