La Colombe was pleased to attend the 8th annual Great Chefs Event last night. The benefit raises funds for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation which goes to research for childhood cancer treatment. The event is in collaboration with Vetri Foundation, established by acclaimed chef Marc Vetri to help kids experience the connection between healthy eating and healthy living
On their website, Alex’s Lemonade states: “Thanks to the generosity of supporters, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and the Vetri Foundation raised nearly $1.1 million at the 8th Annual Great Chefs Event on June 11, 2013. It was a fabulous, sold-out evening of fine food, passionate chefs and generous giving.”
