Last Friday, La Colombe Chicago participated in Cocktails for a Cause fundraiser organized by the Medical Research Junior Board Foundation (MRJBF) at the River East Art Center. It was a fabulous evening of cocktails, food and philanthropy to raise funds for pediatric epilepsy research at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The theme was a modern take on the Great Gatsby, featuring a local mixologists crafting cocktails, live performance by Dean Welch & the Rhythm Method, music by DJ Erge, tastings from some of Chicago’s finest restaurants, and live & silent auction items.
