As you may or may not have heard, we’ve been micro-distilling our very own La Colombe rum. Recipe development has been crafted in our lab (see picture above) using 20 and a 30-liter pot stills. With the best palates pounding on our door, we have responded! So now, we have scaled up to a 450-liter copper pot still and two 2200-liter stainless steel fermenters from CARL Artisan Distilleries – “Germany’s oldest distillery fabricator since 1869.” Oh yeah, playtime is over.

When will the rum be available (in bottle)? Is this going into the Fishtown location? When is Fishtown opening (planned)? Looking forward to it!!
Surly it will be a Great Rum and making it in Philadelphia only makes it better .
