Complimentary Tasting of Different Drum in Philly Cafes This Thursday

We are very excited to be able to provide you with a complimentary tasting of La Colombe’s Different Drum Pennsylvania rum tomorrow evening, Thursday, May 1st. The event will take place in both of our Philadelphia locations: La Colombe Rittenhouse (130 S. 19th St.) and Dilworth (1414 S. Penn Square) cafes from 5:30pm – 7pm.

You’ll be treated to the delectable elixir, which is cavitated with our Panama Geisha and Indian Monsoon Malabar beans. “The result is dry but smooth and haunting, with notes of citrusy jasmine and toasty vanilla,” according to the palate of trusted Philadelphia Inquirer restaurant critic Craig LaBan. Come be one of the first to taste our new interpretation of the classic combination: coffee and sugar!

I ordered 2 bottles back in March. Perhaps instead of giving away free samples and continuing to push people to preorder and pay months before you send their shipment, you could focus on fulfilling existing orders that are over a month old.

      Hi David,
Thanks for your comment. This is a tasting event in series of celebrations for La Colombe’s 20th year anniversary. We’re not giving away free samples. It’s a teeny tiny amount. We plan to have all orders will be fulfilled by the end of May.
      Best,
      La Colombe

  2. La Colombe, Got a bottle of your Rum for Fathers Day (early). Have had Rum in most producing countries. You hit a HOME RUN. Great job!

  3. Hey Todd! I am a native of Kushalnagar from where you got your coffee beans from. I would like to know whether this rum is available all over the US or only in PA.
