By now, you may have heard about the surprise wedding that took place right here at our flagship cafe in Fishtown last weekend. That’s right, a SURPRISE WEDDING. I think my parents woulda had a heart attack if I tried that on them.
The bride and groom, Chloe & Jimmy, were able to make their wedding dreams come true in less than three weeks, gathering friends and family together for their special day.
How in the hell did they pull this off? Well, it helped to having a wedding planner like Clover Event Company, who turned what was supposed to be an engagement party – into a full blown wedding.
“It was actually so thrilling planning a wedding in just three weeks. I had to just go off my instinct with every decision and luckily the couple trusted me and my taste completely, which let me fully run with a vision I had for the day. Special touches like custom signage, menus and place cards dresses up the space and the large framed signs I designed were what informed guests it was a surprise.” – Fulton Maloney, from Clover Events
On a normal day, it’s our flagship cafe with 11,000 square feet of coffee, delicious food, booze, and of course fishtown vibes. But for special occasions, we’ve been able to transform the cafe into a beautifully rustic, industrial space.
It’s without a doubt a beautiful venue for a wedding, but we’ve also hosted parties, charity events, and more. While a buyout for a full day at cafe can be hard to nail down, many of our happenings take place after hours.
